Polo Livery
Turnout / Holiday Livery
Polo ponies are usually turned out 24/7 after completing the summer season.
This includes, regular daily field checks, hay in the field, fresh water, rug changes, organisation of wormers / farrier / dentist / vet and any extra feeds when required.
Academy (working) Livery
A full livery package, discounted as your horse is used in our academy lessons, chukkas and experience days.
Before your polo pony joins our team, they must pass a ridden assessment as well as a routine vet check for our polo academy license.
This is based on your horse’s availability for academy activities such as lessons, chukkas and experience days.
Full Livery
This includes full care of your horse including clipping, basic feeds and hay, organising the farrier / dentist / vet / wormers for you, tacking up, grooming, tack cleaning and general equipment cleaning. Our liveries get use of our on-site polo field and wooden horses. All horses must be fully vaccinated and wormed before bringing on site.
We have organised storage areas for your tack, rugs and equipment all which is fully insured with 24 hour CCTV and on-site staff. We have regular socials which you will be invited along to and get a taste of what the polo world is all about.
Schooling Livery
This is a full livery package that is designed for horses that need additional professional schooling.
James has over 25 years of experience breaking in and training young horses, with a specialty of retraining ex race horses into polo.
Our clients regularly invest in young horses and put them in training until they are ready to play tournaments. This can be a more affordable way to get a young and experienced polo pony at an affordable price.
Polo socials with JFPA
Firepit / BBQ area
After your polo activities we invite you to come and sit at our firepit area which also has a well stocked bar for a few Apres-polo drinks and a BBQ/Asado or freshly cooked pizza.
Social dinner evenings
We organize social events, restaurants, trips to famous polo tournaments with full hospitality and even days at the races that involve our regular academy clients and friends.
