What we do and why it matters...
With more than 25 years of experience, you are assured of world class guidance
Polo is not just a sport, it is a way of life. One of the best elements to polo is that it brings people together from all walks of life. We thrive on a lively, fun, honest and welcoming environment at our academy here in Cheshire.
We hold chukkas up to three times a week which always finish with a sociable BBQ and a few drinks around our fabulous fire pit area which we have only just built this last year.
Our academy has its own premises in Great Barrow and also operates and fully supports the Cheshire Polo Club, located in Little Budworth, just 15 minutes drive away.
James Fielding, who is a level 2 HPA Qualified Coach and has an international playing handicap of 3-goals, conducts all lessons, experience days and chukkas on a regular basis.
Chukka challenge matches are also held for those who are looking for a sensible stepping stone before committing to playing club and HPA tournament polo.
Our Mission
The academy was originally set up back in 2006 with the ambition to make polo as accessible as possible. A pay-as-you-go system was created, enabling anyone to learn, improve and play polo proficiently in the Cheshire area.
In 2018 we collaborated with local club Cheshire Polo Club located in little Budworth. Not only has our academy gone from strength to strength , so has the polo club providing a natural feed of new players at grass-roots level.
Our team
We have a number of professionals that work with our academy, whether it be providing instruction for lessons, coaching for teams, schooling horses or supporting the polo teams we put together to play in tournaments around the country.
