Polo Lessons

We specialise in professional polo tuition to all ages and abilities.

Absolute beginners welcome.

Spectators welcome & dogs on leads.

45 minute private polo lesson with a HPA instructor. Perfect for those wanting to learn the basics or improve their skills.

30 minute polo riding lessons are also available to help with schooling techniques (no mallet work).

Non riders are very welcome.

Weekend groups are available for those who want to progress through the academy levels (U14s children, adult beginner, intermediate and advanced) Each lesson includes stick and ball, swing instruction, tactics, HPA rules and instructional chukkas.

Riding Experience Required

Perfect for Hen/Stags, Birthdays or fun days out.

The experience day includes polo riding tuition, wooden horse (mallet swing) instruction, lunch at the fabulous Chester Fields country restaurant, stick and ball lesson (hitting the ball whilst riding) and a match against each other. Your group can then relax with a glass of bubbles.

The 1.5 hour mini experience includes polo riding, swing instruction, stick and ball (hitting the ball whilst riding) and a match against each other (3+ riders for the match). A glass of bubbles to finish.

6-14yo who want to learn polo and play fun matches against each other. We do advise that if your child has never ridden before or if they are new to polo, that they do at least one private lesson before joining the groups.

Basic riding required

30-45min pony hire and free use of our private grounds to stick and ball on.

Private groups are perfect for those who want try polo, enjoy a fun activity with loved ones. You will have access to our social areas and our team are here to help you make the most of the day. Each lesson includes polo riding, stick and ball, swing instruction and a fun match against each other (3+ riders for the match).

45min discounted regular training for army/students with the aim of competing in Schools/SUPA nationals and other tournaments. If your school/university does not currently have a polo team, please email us for and we will assist you in organising one.

Wednesday and Friday chukkas are followed by a BBQ, drinks and fire pit evenings. Our HPA instructors are umpiring/playing to provide regular instruction. You can discuss tactics or rules, whilst improving your game. Horses are available for hire, chukkas are included in livery or you can bring your own.
